Last full day at the hotel. The ladies started out playing tennis, and Elsie and I got to ride in a buggy all by ourselves! After breakfast, it was back to the pool all day (except for another massage for me). After swimming, we went to the Parrot Show to see how clever the bright coloured birds were. Then dinner at the restaurant. All in all a lovely day.

Massage Heaven!
Another wonderful day in Provence. Today, we began with the ladies going to the market and Elsie stayed back to play in the baby pool. All day was spent in the pool, except for lunch, which was a cheese and wine affair at our own villa on our balcony. Elsie had a little sleep and then back to the pool. David, on the other hand, had a "four hands" massage, which consisted of one hour of full body exfoliation, a full facial, and then another hour of two people doing synchronised massage on him with hot stones. VERY relaxed is the phrase that leaps to mind. Afterward, Elsie made some jewelry at the craft area and everyone went out to dinner.

Today we went to one of our favorite places, the beach at `St. Aygulf, near Frejus. It was about 30 minutes away, if you didn't get lost on the way. It is a nice comfortable beach, and we had our favorite spot (we were here two years ago). Da and Mimya, also visiting the region, met us at the beach. Elsie had ice cream and a swim with Dad!
Back at the hotel, there was entertainment, with Elsie learning to Juggle, skip rope and walk on stilts!

Today saw the ladies go off to the Market in Fayence while David had a 2 hour Full Body Balance Experience at the spa. Thinking themselves rather well-adjusted to the Provencal markets Biddy swerved across the road at the first opportunity and parked the car against on-coming traffic in (what they thought was a perfect spot) only to move it 5 mins later when they realised the 3 stalls selling pottery was not in fact the market - that was 2 miles away up a steep incline - which is where this shot was taken - a little refreshement was needed after all that shopping.
When they returned, everyone hit the pool, with Polly hogging all of the children's pool toys - a brilliant strategy we thought as all the kids left and we ended up with it to oursleves. Good thing she had that float, it was all of 1 foot deep beneath her!
Then Elsie and David went to the Adult pool where Bid was able to shoot this picture of us looking over the waterfall. The day ended with a Magic Show, half in english and half in French. Where Elsie got to be one of the assistants in the rope trick part of the show. She ended up with a balloon sword and dog! Dinner was on our terrace, a simple event of wine cheese and crisps. Oh how very Francais!!!
